Kitchen and living room are connected by an open arch and look out onto the inner garden of Villa Markhof. The master bedroom has two window fronts — facing the garden and Geidorfgürtel. When you walk through the staircase in the morning, you can smell fresh bread: the Sorger bakery is right on the ground floor.

But size alone is not everything: striking wallpaper, designer lamps and thoughtful colour concepts give each room its own character. The orange flat is the apartment for guests who do not just want to sleep, but want to spend time together.
Kitchen and living room — connected by an open arch.
The kitchen is its own room, so is the living room — but instead of a door, an open archway with old-world charm connects them. Both rooms face the garden of the villa. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, 4-burner hob, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. And if you do not feel like cooking: the Sorger bakery is right on the ground floor — in the morning you can already smell the fresh bread in the staircase.
The master bedroom.
BR1 is the largest sleeping area in the apartment: a double bed, a reclining chair (usable as a sleeping chair), Smart TV and two window fronts — one facing the garden, one facing Geidorfgürtel. Flooded with light during the day, fully blacked out at night. Like all sleeping areas of the orange flat.
Three rooms for sleeping.
The sleeping options are spread across three separate areas: BR1 (master bedroom), BR2 with its delightful mushroom wallpaper and a view of the university entrance, and the living room with a sofa bed. For groups where not everyone wants to sleep in the same room, a well-thought-out arrangement.
Private staircase.
The orange flat has its own staircase — entrance at Schubertstraße 16a, right next to the glass entrance door of the Sorger bakery. No shared hallway with other guests. The only other apartment with this feature is the golden flat.

Getting here & check-in
Self-check-in from 3:00 pm via code lock — no key, no waiting. The "orange flat" parking space in the courtyard is included. The entrance is at Schubertstraße 16a, right next to the Sorger bakery — please do not confuse with number 16 (golden flat). The front door is locked at night and has its own code. All information on getting here and finding your apartment will be sent to you automatically by email after booking.

How many guests can the orange flat accommodate?
Up to seven. Four sleeping options across three rooms: BR1: double bed 180×200, reclining chair 80×190, BR2: double bed 180×200, and living room: sofa bed 160×200. Travel cot and high chair on request.
Is the kitchen fully equipped?
Yes. The kitchen is its own room with oven, 4-burner hob, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine (capsule + filter) and seating area. The Sorger bakery right on the ground floor provides fresh rolls in the morning.
Can all rooms be blacked out?
Yes — all our sleeping areas have full blackout. The master bedroom has two large window fronts, both with blackout options.
Is there a lift?
No. The orange flat is on the 1st floor, accessible via its own staircase (entrance Schubertstraße 16a). For guests with limited mobility, we recommend the yellow or white flat — both on the ground floor.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately not in the orange flat. Pets are welcome exclusively in the yellow flat.
What does the final cleaning cost?
